About National Infertility Awareness Week
National Infertility Awareness Week, or NIAW, is observed each year for one week in April, this year from April 21-27. NIAW was founded with the purpose of raising awareness about infertility, along with the need for more accessible fertility treatments. In 2024, there is a specific focus on ensuring everyone who wants to build a family knows when to seek help from a specialist, along with educating both the public and lawmakers about infertility and issues surrounding it.
One of the biggest changes we advocate for during NIAW (and the rest of the year!) is increased insurance coverage. According to a survey reported by the ASRM, fewer than half of women in the U.S. who met the infertility guidelines had consulted a doctor, and more than 80% had not received fertility care. Further, a majority of both women and men report cost to be a concern for them when considering fertility treatment. Mandatory comprehensive insurance coverage would open the doors for many more people to access the fertility care they need.
Most patients today must pay out of pocket for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other treatments, making it critical that we continue to advocate for insurance to cover fertility care. However, because we know it won’t happen overnight, we strive to offer affordable fertility care at RISE.

We offer a variety of financing options, including 0% financing for 6 or 12 months and low-interest financing for longer terms.
